Hosted by clinical colleagues from London’s Air Ambulance (LAA), this session will be focussed on the initial interventions for mass haemorrhage wounds. The team will demonstrate wound packing and haemorrhage control techniques, and give an insight into what someone first on scene could do in a similar scenario.

Rescue at Height
In partnership with Lyon, JCB and Petzl
Hosted by Lyon Work & Rescue this session is ideal for anyone involved in rescues in challenging locations. The team will demonstrate and give an insight into the key rope techniques for extracting and moving casualties safely at height in a number of challenging scenarios, where anchors and obstacles make standard techniques unworkable.

Extrication Team, Road Traffic Collision Demonstration
in partnership with London Fire Brigade and UKRO
London Fire Brigade’s vehicle extrication team is made up of frontline operational officers and firefighters with a passion for learning and development around road traffic collisions, as well as the response to these incidents. We share our learnings with colleagues at events and CPD workshops held by the United Kingdom Rescue Organisation (UKRO) throughout the UK each year.
As part of The Blue Light Show, the London Fire Brigade’s Extrication Team will be carrying out a live demonstration of how we respond to road traffic collisions (RTCs).
This is a unique opportunity to see behind the scenes of how firefighters deal with serious incidents on London’s roads.
