The Lyon Work & Rescue team deliver professional training courses for safe operations in vertical, steep and difficult-to-access environments. Experience live demonstration throughout the day about Extraction via Sloping Cableway, Restricted Access Rescue and Skylotec Powered Ascender Experience.

Extraction via Sloping Cableway

A sloping cableway system offers a powerful solution for extracting persons from height.

In this live demonstration in collaboration with Thames Valley Police, watch a real-world scenario unfold as an officer is raised to height level with a subject attached to a structure, ready for controlled extrication to safety.

  • Rapid rope system withdrawal techniques

Restricted Access Rescue

This live demonstration, in collaboration with London Fire Brigade, showcases a versatile reeve setup used to extract a casualty through a narrow opening, both horizontally and vertically, where conventional systems simply can't operate.

Expect:

  • Live English reeve rigging for independent horizontal and vertical movement
  • Safety line deployment and push-pull control techniques
  • Specialised restricted access stretcher with tilting bridle in action
  • Real-world discussion with the Lyon Work & Rescue team on system advantages

 


 

Skylotec Powered Ascender Experience

Step up and trial the Skylotec Powered Ascender for yourself, rising above the Blue Light Show floor at the touch of a button for a bird's-eye view like no other.

  • Hands-on trial of the Skylotec Powered Ascender
  • Expert team on hand for questions and operational guidance
  • Real-world discussion on rope access and equipment lifting applications

Safelincs Emerging Fire Risk Demonstration

The Fire & Safety Innovation Hub at Safety, Health & Wellbeing Live will showcase the technologies shaping the future of operational safety, risk management, and smart building protection.
