Ethos Forensics
Sue is a consultant forensic biologist and Chartered Forensic Practitioner with 25 years’ experience. Beginning her career at the former FSS, she established Ethos Forensics in 2011, becoming a leading voice in Defence-instructed Case Review. In that vein, she currently cochairs a Forensic Science Regulator and Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences working group to determine requirements for regulation in Case Review. Sue taught forensic science at the University of Lancashire for eight years and continues to deliver wider training to police, legal, and expert audiences. She recently submitted her PhD thesis on streamlined forensic reporting and admissibility, and is in discussion with FCN’s National SFR Board and the Ministry of Justice about her findings and recommendations.
