Pauline Cranmer is the Chief Paramedic Officer at London Ambulance Service NHS Trust. She brings over 25 years of experience across frontline clinical care and operational leadership, including delivery of strategic national ambulance policy. Pauline is known for clear decision-making and a strong focus on patient safety, workforce culture, and performance delivery.

In her current role, she is the professional lead for Paramedics, leads clinical education, and advanced practice, professional standards, and workforce development for one of the busiest ambulance services in the world. She has driven sustained improvement in operational performance, particularly in urgent and emergency response. In addition to this Pauline holds national portfolio responsibility for the NHS Resilience Emergency Capabilities Unit across the ambulance sector.

Pauline provides executive leadership across clinical partnerships and programme delivery. This includes shaping key messages on clinical care safety, collaboration, and innovation across emergency services, while ensuring the needs and values of the patient and staff are reflected the priorities.
