Mandy is a Sustainability and Social Value Specialist working within NHS procurement, with a strong focus on creating practical, meaningful change across healthcare and local communities. Her work centres on embedding sustainability, social value, ethical procurement, and community impact into procurement practices, helping organisations move beyond compliance towards long-term social and environmental improvement.

Alongside her professional role, Mandy is known for turning ideas into action. She has led regional sustainability initiatives, developed supplier guidance and training on social value, and played a key role in creating the Social Impact Framework to improve access for VCSE and purpose-led organisations. She also chairs a regional sustainability forum and regularly works with suppliers, NHS bodies, and community organisations to encourage collaboration and innovation.

Outside of work, Mandy is deeply involved in grassroots community projects through her community group, where she organises events, environmental initiatives, and activities designed to bring people together and strengthen community wellbeing.
