Jo Fielding
Jo Fielding has 35 years of experience in West Midlands Fire Service, with a career spanning Fire Control, Policy, Emergency Planning, and now working in the Response department. She has developed a strong operational understanding of incident management and coordination. Now responsible for specialist response capabilities, Jo has been a National Interagency Liaison Officer (NILO) since 2017 and has served as the West Midlands Regional Fire Lead since 2018, attending National meetings where she represents the Fire Services within the West Midlands Region.
Jo is also a Facilitator on the National Interagency Liaison course, a national course where she supports others developing into the NILO role.
She is recognised for her experience in interoperability, multi‑agency coordination, and specialist operational response.
