Andy Bowes is the Command Educator and HART Tutor for the NHS Resilience Emergency Capabilities Unit (ECU). A HCPC-registered Paramedic and experienced incident commander, he has over 15 years' experience in ambulance services, specialist operations, and emergency preparedness. Andy has served as a National Ambulance Resilience Unit (NARU) Command Instructor, Advanced Paramedic, Operational & Tactical Commander, and educator, contributing to the development of command training and major incident preparedness across the NHS. His areas of expertise include command and control, CBRN response, HART operations, major incident management, and multi-agency interoperability. He is passionate about developing confident leaders and responders capable of making effective decisions in complex and challenging operational environments.
