A new generation of operation, duty, exercise, or mission boot. The LOWA COMBAT BOOT MK2 GTX® with its comfortable dual-density PU midsole and arch support offers a great deal of comfort for long tabs, yomps, rucks or marches. Its certified ankle protection system with PORON® technology makes the boot the perfect choice for soldiers, airmen, sailors, police, security and private military contractors. The LOWA COMBAT BOOT MK2 GTX® is suitable for moderate, wet and cold climates and is designed to ensure stability, durability and comfort with minimal seam construction. The water-repellent, tear-resistant smooth full-grain leather with LOWA® RAYFLECT technology is an additional new technology for some boots in the LOWA Professional collection.

The avoidance of unnecessary stitches, minimal seams and leather or material overlaps are eliminated in the LOWA COMBAT BOOT MK2 GTX® thanks to the use of large leather pieces in constructing the upper. This reduces the possibility of pressure points and hotspots, a feature that enhances comfort.

The Vibram® Vanguard sole meets the highest anti-slip standards. Slip protection depends primarily on the design and rubber compound of the outsole. The LOWA COMBAT BOOT MK2 GTX® provides optimal slip protection on slick, wet and oily surfaces, as well as good grip on terrain. What's more, the VIBRAM®sole is resoleable.

Ankle protection is particularly important in the military & Police sector and for work in rough terrain. The LOWA COMBAT BOOT MK2 GTX® is equipped with high-performance protection of the ankle area against injuries caused by external impact. The protection of the inner and outer ankles is ensured by a PORON® padding in the affected area. This material is characterised by particularly high shock absorption and is certified (an additional requirement AN).

The two-zone lacing system used in the LOWA COMBAT BOOT MK2 GTX® means the forefoot and upper have their own separate adjustable lacing zones. As a result, the boot can be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced in different ways for ascents and descents.

100% Poly­urethane (PU)Midsole. PU is a soft plastic that has very good cushioning properties and is usually used in the midsole as a result. Using PU the soles of boots become light­weight and functionally flexible.

100% GORE-TEX® Professional Performance Comfort Footwear membrane. Boots equipped with a GORE-TEX® Professional Performance Comfort Footwear membrane are permanently waterproof and are perfect for fluctuating temperatures.

The LOWA COMBAT BOOT MK2 GTX® is equipped with an exchangeable footbed for optimal individual adjustment and, in combination with the orthopaedic insoles ErgoPad® work:x and ErgoPad® work:h+ from BAUER­FEIND®, is certified and approved for use as occupational footwear in accordance with DIN EN ISO 20347:2012.
