This Level 2 Apprenticeship is the professional standard for frontline security operatives working across public and private sector organisations. Security officers may work independently or as part of a team, protecting people, property and places while supporting a strong security culture.

Duration: 12 months

Suitable for: Security officers working in concierge, reception, control room, static guarding, mobile patrol, key holding, dog handling, education and corporate security roles.

Key Responsibilities: Identifying and managing security risks, protecting people and assets, maintaining safety and security procedures, and acting as professional ambassadors for the industry.

Progression: Security First Line Manager Level 3 Apprenticeship.
