The Facilities Services Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship is designed for individuals who provide essential facilities support services across a variety of environments. Working as part of a facilities management team, apprentices help ensure buildings and services operate safely, efficiently and in line with organisational standards.

Duration: 12 months

Suitable for: Facilities Operatives, Facilities Assistants, Services Operatives, Services Assistants, Cleaning Operatives, Concierges and Estates Operatives.

Typical Work Environments: Residential developments, commercial properties, hospitals, schools, government departments, retail centres and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities: Supporting the delivery of facilities services, maintaining compliance with health and safety requirements, assisting with soft FM services such as security, cleaning, catering, front-of-house and post-room services, and providing excellent customer service to building users.

Progression: Facilities Supervisor Level 3 or other specialist facilities management programmes.
