Critical Postvention Response: Exposure to Suicide & Complex Trauma

Harmless CIC Stand: R72
Ash Botes
Harmless provides a complete pathway of support for people and communities affected by self‑harm, suicide, and complex trauma. Our work spans prevention, intervention, and postvention, ensuring that no one is left to navigate distress alone and no organisation is left without guidance when facing the impact of suicide or trauma.

The Tomorrow Project delivers our specialist critical postvention response, supporting individuals, families, workplaces, and communities following exposure to suicide or traumatic loss. This sits within a wider, integrated system of care that includes:

  • Clinical therapy for people experiencing self‑harm, suicidal thoughts, or trauma

  • Crisis and postvention support for those affected by suicide

  • Specialist training for professionals, teams, and organisations

  • Consultancy and trauma‑informed organisational development

  • Community and workforce support following critical incidents

What makes Harmless distinct is the way these services connect. We don’t offer isolated interventions — we hold the whole journey. From early signs of distress, through crisis, and into recovery and resilience‑building, we provide consistent, compassionate, evidence‑based support that adapts to the needs of the person or organisation in front of us.

Our values of compassion, integrity, lived experience, and clinical excellence shape every interaction. Whether we are supporting someone in crisis, guiding a workplace through a traumatic incident, or delivering specialist therapy and training, our commitment remains the same: to provide a complete, human, and joined‑up response before, during, and after crisis.
