The Blue Light Show Announces Strategic Partnership with JESIP to Strengthen UK Multi-Agency Response and Interoperability
The Blue Light Show is proud to announce a new official partnership with the Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Principles (JESIP), reinforcing the event’s mission to advance coordinated response, shared standards and national preparedness across UK emergency services.

JESIP has become the recognised standard for multi-agency interoperability in the United Kingdom. Their Joint Doctrine provides the established national framework ensuring police, fire, ambulance, local resilience and supporting agencies can work seamlessly together before, during and after incidents. While the principles were originally designed to address major events, JESIP’s scalable doctrine now informs all levels of incident response, from routine multi-agency callouts to complex national emergencies.

As an Event Partner, JESIP will play a key role across the 2025 programme, including:

Main Stage & Leadership Sessions – addressing interoperability evolution, lessons learned and multi-agency command improvements.

JESIP-Led Live Training Scenario – hosted in the show’s immersive operational space, bringing together JESIP, London Fire Brigade and select partner agencies.

Advisory Board Representation – helping directly shape agenda focus, operational relevance and the development of joint capability conversations.

This partnership underscores The Blue Light Show’s commitment to aligning live training, policy direction and frontline implementation under a shared national standard.

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome JESIP as an official partner. Their principles form the backbone of multi-agency working in the UK, so to have them embedded into our agenda and actively shaping hands-on scenario training is both timely and essential. The opportunity to demonstrate real-time interoperability will offer our audience something deeply practical, impactful and aligned to what they face daily, from routine callouts to extraordinary threat environments.”
