Police Reform – setting policing up to succeed now and in the future.
Assistant Commissioner Louisa Rolfe, jointly with Home Office Director Ian Caplan, leads a team committed to the delivery of Police Reform – the biggest anticipated changes to policing in decades.
The Government White Paper ‘From Local to National: a new model for policing’ sets out an ambitious set of policy proposals which will see widescale change and reform across the policing sector over the next number of years.
The paper proposes how a series of radical police reforms will deliver improvements to policing services, which will have the potential to set policing up to deliver a vastly better service, ensuring every officer in every part of the country is equipped with the best tools and technology they need to fight crime and keep our communities safe.
AC Rolfe will talk through the Police Reform programme, the themes and proposals in the White Paper, and how the team will be set up to deliver this significant transformation across the sector.
